Graphics are cool but...

It looks like the story for their game is a bad squad movie machinima, aka: Michael Bay movie of video games. In my opinion the Halo storyline has gotten progressively worse as the series has gone on. Hopefully I'm wrong and the streak stops here.

Also, was anyone else hoping for maybe a little fighting or something? Maybe I got my hopes up too much, but when they said In-Game footage I was kind of expecting gameplay instead of a cutscene that used in-game footage.

Anywayz, I hope to see more!

I'm kind of concerned that it felt less like Halo and more like COD. Not saying that COD is bad or anything, but a Halo game should feel like a Halo game. The tone of the video and the brief introduction of the characters just didn't feel like Halo. But then again, it's just a 2:30 clip.

Oh, Mr. John, they did say in the update before the reveal that it would be part of a cinematic.

There are no words to describe what might be the best halo yet. That scene looks more like gears to me than COD, but ok. Also squad based Halo game, the trailer mentioned six members of that team. plus your fighting the covenant at their best and NO FLOOD!

FYI Jason Jones(Bungie's founder) left after Halo 2. He usually did most of the story. He has returned to work on Halo: Reach.

Reclaimer has a point, if u remember at the beginning of halo 2 the covenant invade earth and the fleet was pretty big. But then he says, hmmm thats odd, the fleet that attacked reach was 50 TIMES this size! Which means there will be a bajillion covenant.

No flood does sound good however I think the flood are a big part of halo, we shouldnt hate them just cuz theyre a bitch to kill.

Graphics looked alot like gears but isnt that a good thing? All the different kinds of armor you see can also mean there might be a wide variety of armor/emblem customization for multiplayer. And with the founder back in action, and bungie constantly learning from there mistakes, I strongly believe that this will be he best halo ever made. IT also might be the last so keep that in mind.

I absolutely love how well the new engine is turing out.

Alot of this gritty feel you are getting from the trailer comes from it being right before dawn, in a valley. Its gonna be dark.

But if you notice, it starts to get a lot more lively and colorful towards the end. Much like the Halo we all know. Bungie said that this will play out like a squad based game-that doesn't really play like a squad based game. Possibly.

And remember. This is still extremely early on. Like, early beta stages.

I like the new characters, and its always good to see the universe expanded. The captain we see at the beginning reminds me of a totally more bad ass Sgt. Forge.

What Bungie is pulling off with the 360 here is truly amazing. Things that people haven't done before to add more depth and play tricks on your eyes. These are things companies wished they had at their disposal.

I truly can not wait. And the no action part in the trailer makes complete sense. It builds excitement, introduces you to the game, and completely leaves you wanting to know more. Is the lone wolf a Spartan III? What does the combat feel like? Do the Prototype Hornets fly differently? How does that BR prototype feel when you shoot it?

So much left unanswered, and I totally cannot wait till this spring!

Looks like it's going to be good, even though the trailer doesn't show much. This is Bungie's last Halo game so you know they're going to put everything into it. And please for the love of god don't say the graphics look good! Bungie is famous for announcing a game with a trailer that has amazing graphics, then nerfing the graphics near the end of the development process.
