Hey I was bored and I thought we should make a top 10 list of video games. It can be any kind of game actually. We can talk about how awesome they are and what we like about them.

Call of Duty MW 2 (360)
Devil May Cry 3 (PS2)
Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii)
Diablo 2 (PC)
Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2)
Ninja Gaiden (XBOX)
Halo 1 (XBOX)
Sonic 3 and Knuckles (PC) ***yeah that's right!!!***
Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 2 (PS2)
Goldeneye (N64)

All of these games are so f-in awesome and deserve recognition, this was a tough bout for me cuz there's tons of other games I wouldve like to put, but oh well. All of the games above are games that kept me up for at least 24-78 hrs straight when they first hit.

I guess I'll throw some of my all-time favorites in...

Halo: Combat Evolved (Xbox): I never got to play GoldenEye, so this was my first ever first person shooter. The Maw + Co-op + Legendary = probably the best gaming experience of my life.
Super Smash Bros. Melee (Gamecube): The first one was good, but the sequel was awesome! Many, many hours poured into this one with a bunch of friends.
Halo 2 (Xbox): Xbox Live and Halo?! What more can you ask for? And of course, the story is great too.
Donkey Kong Country (Super NES): I believe this is one of the first games I ever played. Lots of fun and frustrating times. Actually, I recently found my Super NES and this game not too long ago. It's still frustrating.
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (N64): The N64 was my upgrade from the Super NES, and this was the first game I got for it. The story wasn't bad. Plus, you get to fly around and shoost your lazerz!
Gauntlet Legends (N64): This was the first game I played religiously. My friend owned the game, but when I went over to his house, we were most likely playing this game.
Civilization IV (PC): Actually, I haven't played this game too much, but it's incredibly fun...if you like to manage things and make war and what not. Launch your nukes Gandhi!
Halo 3 (Xbox 360): Halo 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved combined to make the best Halo yet. Forge, online co-op, saved films, and custom games galore.
The Orange Box (Xbox 360): Okay, so it's five games in one. Portal is innovative and the best puzzle game I've yet played. Half Life 2 and its two episodes are absolutely beautiful in terms of story and interesting gameplay. Team Fortress 2 is completely crazy and mindless fun.
The Beatles: Rock Band (Xbox 360): Being a Beatles fan, so naturally I love this game even though I've never played a rhythm game in my life. It's not too hard, and it's not too easy. Mark it fab.

I was so close into putting gauntlet dark legacy as one of mine. Even though its not nearly as good as most games like it, but it was a classic and it was 4 player and you could play it for days. Dark legacy was a way better game than legends in my opinion, theres 5 more worlds and you get to kill garm. ahhh good times.

As for Assassins creed 2. You're right flipps it is awesome, but how can it be in your top ten if you haven't played it? None the less im sureit will still be in top ten by the time you are done with it.

Never play goldeneye firestorm? oh man you missed out. Luckily for you if they ever put it on the arcade we can relive the glory days on xbox live

Besides flipps choice of little big planet...am I the only sony lover? Come to the dark side people!!!

Yeah sorry fuzz, but nintendo owns the IP for GoldenEye so it will never come out on arcade. However Perfect Dark will.

1. Halo 3 (X360)- Decent story, but quite easily the best, most addicting, fun multiplayer I have ever played. Throw in some great tools, and you get a game I'm still playing almost nonstop.
2. Metroid 2 (GBC)- Yep, it's a gameboy game. I love this game so much because I love the fact that there is no map. It makes it so much more challenging, time consuming, and addicting.
3. Shadow of the Colossus (PS2)- I can't even begin to describe how much I love this game. Incredibly addicting, beautiful by the standards at that time... Still one of the most-played games in my library.
4. Legend of Zelda: Minnish Cap (GBA)- Incredible story, and a really innovative feature in the size shrinking. Also lots of stuff to unlock and lots of places to explore. Cool art style too.
5. Fallout 3 (X360)- Amazingly vast world and nearly limitless exploration and gear possibilities, coupled with some interesting weapons, rpg elements, and a good story, and this game becomes an instant classic. Plus, Bethesda is constantly releasing new online content packages to broaden the story and weapon capacity of this classic game.
6. Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (PC)- I'm not sure how you would categorize this game, somewhere between Age of Empires and Baldur's Gate. With great background stories for each faction, creature, and hero, a campaign with an epic scale, and hundreds of artifacts and weapons to create the ultimate warrior, this has got to be one of my all time favorites. Plus, it has the really rare and fun ability to play multiplayer hotseat, with more than one person to a computer (it's turn-based).
7. Diablo 2 (PC)- Some would consider it very arcady, but its really just a well executed, formula true rpg with a great story and excellent free online service. There is just something extremely satisfying about going up to Baal with three friends on Hell difficulty and doing cruel and unusual things to him.
8. Mass Effect (X360)- Very similar to Fallout 3, but a different setting, and some of the conversation options add great depth to the gameplat.
9. Metroid: Zero Mission (GBA)- Metroid 1 remade for the GBA. Better graphics are topped off with a completely unexpected stealth mission at the end, and the ability to play the game with all upgrades if you beat it on hard. As an added bonus, beat it and you unlock metroid 1 in all its 8-bit glory.
10. Star Wars: Republic Cammando (Xbox)- A great story, hilarious dialogue, good weapon selection, and a very realistic look at SWAT style operations, not to mention the fact that the quick and easy to use commands WORK, make for seriously, the best Star Wars game ever, in my opinion. The only reason this game came in at tenth is because the multiplayer was tacked on, and extremely boring and flat.

Yeah, but now we get Perfect Dark on XBLA, which in my opinion, was the better of the two! Plus, Goldeneye wassss coming to Arcade, but they pulled it, cause Nintendo got into a fuss, when they were going to let it happen.

As for my top 10:

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: easily my favorite game. The best from Bioware, and its always good no matter how many times I play it.

Halo Combat Evolved: The game that started it all. I absolutely love everything about it, and were it just a little bit longer, with a few more things in it, it would be at the top of my list

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Absolutely one of the best games ever made. Extremely fun, enjoyable, not to hard, not too easy, and extremely long.

Halo 2: Simply because of how man hours and much of my life I devoted to this game. I love it with all my heart.

Fallout 3: The first Bethesda game I liked. I hate the Morrowind series, but this game just grabbed me and didn't let go for quite some time. Shoot, it still has a hold.

Halo 3: As Firestorm said, the perfect combination of both the first two. Ive found my self frustrated and pleased at the same time while playing this game.

Starcraft: I came late to the Starcraft party, but I was always a fan of RTS games, so Sci-Fi + RTS = perfect fit for me.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: again, so much fun, the moods in this game were perfect. When Midna (One of the main characters) was hurt, the music accompanying it, was so beautiful that I actually felt for the character.

The Lord of the Rings The Third Age: one of the very few RPGs I like. I can find myself playing this game for countless hours as well.

Super Mario 64: What can I say, I grew up with this game, and I find that I still sometimes drag out the 64 to play.

Oh yes, The Third Age.

I think it's the only turn-based RPG that I've liked, but that's most likely because it's LOTR. The characters and combining with the LOTR story, but the actual story of the game is...um...completely out of canon. Magically transporting the characters to fight the Eye of Sauron? Really?

I did remember a bunch of other favorites...

Mario Kart 64 (Rainbow Road FTW), Brutal Legend (surprisingly good story and lots of hilarious dialog), Star Wars: Battlefront (great concept and hours and hours of replayability), KOTOR (okay I lied, I like this turn-based RPG too), The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (I put hours and hours and hours into this game and that's an understatement), Crackdown (surprisingly good all around even without the Halo 3 beta invite).
