Your First Machinima

I was recently talking to Bleck and was reminicsing about ole Halopen gaming times. When he asked me what the first machinima video I ever participated in was, I remembered and just had to share this on the forum.

With Halo 3 ending, (despite most of our first machinimas being Halo 2) this is most certainly the season for Nostalgia. Share your first involvment in a machinima here, Halopen or otherwise!

The first one I actually remember doing, I was an extra in this halo 2 movie called Opus Machinima. Granted, I didn't know what the scene was for at the time, so I was a bit surprised when I actually recognized one of the scenes. I think I might have done one or two before this, but for the life of me, I can't remember them.

I was in the Zanzibar beach storming scene. I was one of the guys shooting the turrets. I didn't even know what it was for until it came out a couple months later.

Seriously, Halopen was my first.

I didn't have the internet until March of '05, and I didn't have Xbox Live until much later. And Halopen was the first Machinima group I found, been here ever since.

Unfortunately (or maybe it is fortunate), I can't seem to find my first machinima at all. It was a little piece called "The Phone Call", and I did some puppeteering AND some voice acting. So it was pretty cool at the time...but thinking back on it, the movie itself sucked.
